I’m back!

We just got back from France last night, and now I need a short vacation to recover from vacation =).  We really outdid ourselves as far as trying to see as much as possible goes, but it was worth it.  It really went by quite fast.  I’m going to try to put together a scrapbook with all the stuff I saved and photos we took (I’ll have to send off for prints I guess, or print them myself).  It’ll be a fun hobby while I’m trying to remember all the science I knew 3 weeks ago.  I hope it’s still in there somewhere.  It was really nice to stop and see my parents (and grandparents and almost-parents-in-law) in NY before coming back to the daily grind here in (sweltering) Pasadena.  I think that will make recovering much easier.  Hopefully we’ll get acclimated to the time differences we’ve been through fairly quickly.  We’re still pretty tired!  But it was great =)

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.

I’m guessing it’s WAY too late by now, but snapfish & shutterfly (and presumably other sites like that) have awesome photobook programs! If you haven’t gotten around to making the scrapbook yet, I recommend looking into that. It’s very fun and turns out very nicely 🙂
