Production Mode

I’m getting to the point now that I have specific figures in mind that I want to make for my presentations and talk about, and I guess it’s nice to have specific goals.  My exam date has been set for the 22nd again –  someone else swapped in for the guy who’ll be out of town.  Hopefully that will be ok.  I have a very specific schedule planned out for myself, so we’ll see how that actually pans out.  The real deadline is pre-orals on Sept. 8th, because I have to have my slides more or less done and the paper I have to write should be done then too so I can get people to review it…sigh, this part of my five years is supposed to be the hardest…

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
