So sore!

After softball practice on Sunday and games both Monday and Tuesday, every muscle I have seems to be sore.  We lost both games, but I didn’t totally suck, so I’m happy enough.  The game on Monday was against a former A-league team, and they had matching T-shirts and caps and work at the physical plant, so I don’t feel too bad about losing.  At least we kept them under 30 runs.  Yesterday’s game was D-league, instead of C, and it was a lot more even.  I pitched the first two innings, which is surprisingly hard…you have to throw it with a specific arc and it has to bounce on the plate…totally different from what I remember, where the goal was definitely to throw it past the plate.  Oh well…I was getting better.

Hopefully with a few days off from actually playing, I can recover..in the meantime – Tylenol!

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
