Done! (again)

At least with the second quarter.  The third one starts in a week and a half…rar…so short!  The last few days have been really really hectic, but I’ve discovered that Jupiter’s core is probably solid, but we won’t see it when we get there, and that craters in ice relax to almost nothing over 100 million years.  Go figure.  I’m heading out to Boston tonight to visit friends and see the Shakespeare Ensemble’s spring production.  I hope I can sleep on the plane.  No more coffee!

Oh, and I had a good birthday, although not really a proper one, since the school stuff railroaded me a little bit.  Fun enough, though =) and it certainly beats last year’s (which I spent in my hotel room after LPSC).  Can’t wait to see lots of my friends over the weekend!

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
