Busy week, but in a good way

Last week I had two professors ease up on things and delay the next homework assignment, and so far that’s made this week much more laid back than usual.  Generally by this time in the week I’m struggling to finish my continuum homework for today and worrying about going to office hours for my other two psets due later in the week, so it was kind of nice to not have a hectic Monday and Tuesday.  Some of the girls in my department had a fondue party last night for dinner, which was really fun (and delicious!) and this weekend there are two plays on campus (from some visiting theater troupe) that I might go to.  One is called “Moby Dick Rehearsed,” and it sounded fun, and the other is “The Tempest.”  Tickets are $5 for grad students, so it’s hard to pass up.  I guess after writing a term paper on it, acting in it, and seeing several other versions of it I’m not completely Tempest-ed out yet.  And I think I might actually *have time* to see them both on Friday and Saturday, and I don’t get that feeling very often! =)

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.

That seems to be the story with everything I was waiting for…checks and things too…they haven’t been returned, but I haven’t gotten them. I wonder if the mailman just delivered my stuff to the wrong mailbox or something. That sucks. I’m sorry about your letter!
