Nearly two weeks later..

Everything’s been really busy since I got back from Philadelphia.  Now I’m about to leave again (field trip to the Mojave for class), and I’m trying to wrap up my classes a little more beforehand.  There’s pretty much no chance I’ll bet any work done this weekend, but it should at least be fun and pretty.

Other fun things I’ve done lately:

  • Ran around doing errands with my grandparents and got some fun camping and sport stuff
  • Started the third season of Slings and Arrows =)
  • Went to see a stage adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 at his theater company’s (Pandemonium) tiny playhouse – it wasn’t bad, considering how hard I thought it would be to make a play out of that book…
  • Going to see Capitol Steps at the auditorium on campus tonight with my family

Not bad for feeling so busy…it’s good to make an effort to get out sometimes, even though it makes everything really hectic at the same time.  Sometime during the day today I have to go home and make sure I’m packed for the trip, finish a problem set, and proofread and print my group’s field trip stop handout.  It’ll happen.

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
