90-degree weekend

That’s hot even for here in April…but I guess it’s supposed to get back to the 60’s this week.

Also, read this book:

Two-Mile Time Machine

It’s about the ice cores in Greenland, and it’s written by someone who knows what he’s talking about, but it’s for a general audience.  I had to read it for a class last quarter, and it was really good!

At the moment I’m reading Shaman’s Crossing by Robin Hobb.  I’ll probably run out of time for that kind of thing soon enough, so we’ll see how far I get =)

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
