Nostalgia…

Yesterday I went to dinner with a bunch of other grad students and post docs, and met a few more who either went to MIT or lived in Boston. There’s really quite a few, and it made me all nostalgic to talk to them, even though for the most part their time there only overlapped with mine by a year or two. But some of them even saw some Ensemble shows, including Antigone and Macbeth (heh, the guy said he and his friends liked it, that it was “campy”), and they seemed to know Elizabeth quite well because Marcus worked in atmospheric science in EAPS. It shrunk my world a little bit.

Anyway, with Titus cast now and people back at MIT excited about it, I’m kind of sad that I’m not a part of it…even though I wouldn’t have been thrilled about Titus anyway. Oh well. Time to go to work.

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
