Hitting the ground running

Well, the field trip is over, and so is my weekend.  Suddenly it’s Tuesday again and I have three problem sets to finish by Thursday afternoon.  Owen’s Valley is pretty, and there are nice rocks there, but I’m not sure the trip was worth it to me, overall.  My happiness with it would have increased a lot if we’d gotten back sooner on Sunday.  Oh well.  It’s the only field trip I have this quarter, so I should be grateful I got outside at all =).

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
