To-do list

Ok, there’s a bunch of stuff that I need to work on over the next couple of weeks (and especially weekends):

  • Buy a bike: I think I want one of the comfort-style ones, even though I’ll feel a bit silly on it. I haven’t ridden a bike in years (I had one in Boston, but never managed to ride it), and I’m kinda nervous about it. These are designed so you can put your feet flat on the ground when you’re sitting on it. I have a few brands/models I want to find and hopefully try, but I’ll probably have to visit several bike stores to find them all. Might take a while.
  • Mosaic more: I started a new project. It’s for my sister, and it’s for Halloween, which, unfortunately, is growing ever nearer. I started breaking the tiles, but it has a ways to go.
  • Get a haircut
  • Find out what One Act Theater is about: because Theater Arts is completely inactive this quarter (I finally got a response from a Performance Arts administrator). OAT is an undergrad group, and they do one show a year…maybe they do other stuff during the year? Not sure.
  • Otherwise find good things to read (perhaps plays) that won’t distract me too much when I don’t want them to.
  • Clean my room! And do laundry…this one is ongoing..

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
