I <3 Björkudden

I’ve had a fairly good weekend so far. Jon rented a Flexcar yesterday morning and we went to IKEA to buy him some more furnture. Now there’s a nice little table in the kitchen named Björkudden. Silly IKEA. But it is fun to say.

I think I’m on the upswing of this cold…maybe just another day or so of feeling congested? I have one thing due this week for each class again, so it will be a crazy week I think. I’ve started a few things, but will have to work some more tonight. Last week before mid-terms (I think I only have one, actually). Crazy.

I have a field trip for Ge 101 next weekend – I assume they’ll tell us stuff about it on Tuesday, but I wish they’d have given us some information last week…I really don’t know when I’m leaving or getting back or what I need to bring, etc. I know we’re not camping, at least, so maybe packing will be simple.

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
