Class Dilemma

So I’m doing it again. I have too many classes, and I don’t want to pick and choose.  For once the category for this post is wrong, because it’s not unique to Caltech.  It’s how I am.  I intended to drop one class, Geophysical Data Analysis, but then I went to the first lecture, where the professor taught an overview of the course (which, by the way, I wish every professor would do – not just go through the syllabus, but actually teach through the topics, like, with math), and I loved it.  I wish I could have taken it before I started my thesis project last year.  So I’m stuck with four right now.  I think I’ll just wait a couple of weeks and see how the problem sets go.  I have a feeling that some other of my classes will not be that difficult (intro to geology, maybe?), so perhaps it will balance?  We’ll see!

About meg

I think planets are cool! I'm a new graduate student in Planetary Science at Caltech, and at the moment I'm interested in planetary geophysics of terrestrial planets and moons. I'm originally from Cortlandt Manor, NY, and I did my undergrad at MIT, where I got heavily involved in student theater - a hobby I hope to continue through grad school, time permitting... I also like to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, obsess about English history, and play frisbee.
